Wild Turkey Field Day in Anderson County, May 1st

The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and Texas Parks and Wildlife Department will conduct a multi-county Land Stewardship Practices for Wild Turkey Field Day from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. May 1 at the Gus Engeling Wildlife Management Area.

The meeting site is about 7 miles north of Tennessee Colony off U.S. Highway 287.
“The field day is for landowners interested in managing their properties for wildlife, particularly wild turkey,” said Truman Lamb, AgriLife Extension agent in Anderson County.

The program and lunch are free, but an RSVP is needed by April 28. For more information or to RSVP, call the AgriLife Extension office in Anderson County at 903-723-3735.
