As Texas hunters and anglers recently purchased new hunting/fishing licenses, many question the use or misuse of that money by the Texas Legislature. Some believe that they use funds derived from license sales to fund other state programs. Shannon Tompkins of the Houston Chronicle recently wrote an article that explains what exactly the Legislature does with those funds. Maybe a better way to put it is not what they do with it, but rather what they don't do with it.
