Ranch Management University




There will be a fall session for the Ranch Management University October 10-14. This session is specifically designed to help new landowners improve their understanding regarding the management of resources found on their ranch property. Topics covered include soils and soil fertility, forage species selection, hay production, weed and brush management, winter pasture establishment and utilization, beef cattle breed selection, nutrient requirements and feeding strategies for livestock, grazing management strategies, as well as wildlife and fisheries management. Attendance to the event is limited to 50 people. The Cost is $500.
